The Lord Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury have had before Them your letter of 31st ulto, inclosing despatch from the Governor of Hongkong with Estimate & Reports No: 25 of 29 Nov 1867 "for certain Public Works"; and I am to convey to you the request that you will inform the Duke of Buckingham and Chandos, Their approval of these Estimates, amounting to £18,300.
